Our upholstery work begins by reviewing the item, frame, cushion support, material direction, comfort needs, finishing detail, and intended use. Where relevant, we can also review wickering for woven seats, backs, or panels.

For existing fabric, leather, faux leather, or seat covers that are torn, faded, stained, peeling, loose, or worn from use.

For seats, backs, or cushions that feel too soft, too flat, uneven, or no longer supportive.

For pieces that need a different fabric, leather, faux leather, colour, texture, stitch detail, woven detail, or finish to suit the room, project, or intended use.

Photos or drawings are useful at the start, but the final scope may need to be confirmed after the item, material, cushion, or woven area is reviewed.

REVIEW.

We begin by reviewing photos, measurements, item type, drawings where relevant, current covering if any, cushion condition, frame support, and what you would like to achieve.

Where wickering is required, the woven area, frame condition, and material suitability are also reviewed before confirming the scope.

MATERIAL SELECTION.

Fabric, leather, faux leather, foam, cushion support, colour, texture, stitching, woven work, and finishing details are reviewed according to the look, comfort, use, and maintenance needs of the piece. Visit our materials page.

QUOTATION.

We prepare an indicative quotation based on item size, material choice, cushion work, foam replacement, stitching details, wickering where relevant, complexity, quantity, and delivery requirements.

UPHOLSTERY WORK.

The item is upholstered or reupholstered according to the confirmed scope, with attention to covering, cushion support, fit, finish, and continued usability. Where required, wickering is carried out as part of the confirmed work scope.

FINAL FIT & DELIVERY.

Final photos are shared before the completed item is delivered or collected.
