TRADITIONAL CRAFTSMANSHIP
MEETS MODERN IDENTITIES.
OLD WORLD MAGIC.

Timber Craftmanship Since 1981

Kok Art & Craft is a fourth-generation bespoke furniture designer/maker, family-owned and devoted to the fine art of timber craftsmanship since 1981. We uphold a simple principle: quality over quantity.

Working with solid Melunak and Merbau—woods prized for their durability, fine grain, and warm tones, our artisans handcraft each piece to celebrate the strength and natural beauty of wood, joined with time-honoured interlocking techniques. No excess. No shortcuts. The result is furniture of quiet luxury—works designed to endure, gather character, and be inherited.

Our clients include design-conscious homeowners, interior designers, architects, and businesses. We collaborate with them, shaping commissions that carry their cultural heritage and a clear design identity. Our process has remained constant for over four decades: begin with culture, design as art, craft for heritage.

Our Values

Beyond the craft itself, our work is rooted in values that have guided us for generations.
These principles shape not only what we make, but how we make it.

Trust

We stand firm in our word and in our actions, building confidence through consistency and integrity.

Responsiveness

We listen first, respond with clarity, and walk alongside you to shape solutions that serve your needs.

Care

We treat every relationship with respect and patience, ensuring you feel supported long after the first step.

Authenticity

We honor your vision so fully that what’s created feels unmistakably yours—sparking pride, ownership, and lasting joy.

Heritage

With over 40 years of experience, we are a fourth-generation family-owned workshop. Every piece is shaped with the same dedication to tradition, precision, and artistry that has defined our craft since 1981.

Variation

From dining tables and cabinetry to restorations and reupholstery, we build across all furniture types. No project is too large or too small—each is treated with the same patience and skill.

Customizability

Every detail can be tailored: dimensions, finishes, joints, and fabrics. We welcome collaboration, giving clients the chance to be part of the design journey so the final piece reflects their story.

Quality

Built to last, not to replace. We rely on precise interlocking joinery instead of weak mechanical or chemical bonds, ensuring strength, stability, and heirloom-quality endurance.

Why Entrust Your Furniture with Us

For over four decades, Kok Art & Craft has carried forward a family legacy of timber craftsmanship. We combine time-honoured skills with modern design sensibilities to create furniture that is lasting, meaningful, and truly yours.
